Service Credit Terms
Last updated: May 11, 2026
Effective: May 11, 2026
These Service Credit Terms supplement the Profasee Terms of Service and govern paid and promotional credits associated with a Profasee account. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms.
1. What Service Credits Are
Service Credits are a prepaid account balance that may be applied against eligible Profasee usage charges. Profasee currently tracks Service Credits as a U.S. dollar-denominated balance in the Profasee ledger.
Service Credits are not cash, currency, stored value, a bank account, a deposit account, a gift card, a security, or legal tender. Service Credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, cannot be redeemed for cash, and do not accrue interest.
Service Credits are not the same thing as model tokens. The Services may measure AI usage using model tokens, cached input tokens, output tokens, image generation events, agent runs, workflow executions, tool calls, or other usage units. Service Credits may be applied against charges generated from those usage units according to Profasee's then-current pricing and billing rules.
2. Types of Service Credits
Usage Credits are credits you purchase through the Profasee platform, checkout flow, billing page, or another Profasee-approved purchase flow.
Promotional Credits are free, bonus, trial, founder, migration, courtesy, or promotional credits that Profasee may provide at its discretion.
Profasee may reject, cancel, or limit a Service Credit purchase or promotion at any time where permitted by law.
3. Purchases
Profasee may require you to maintain a valid payment method before purchasing Service Credits. Current self-serve purchase flows may limit purchases to amounts between $25 and $2,500 per transaction, but Profasee may change purchase limits, minimums, maximums, and available denominations at any time.
Service Credits are issued to the Account associated with the purchase after payment succeeds or after Profasee otherwise confirms issuance. Taxes may apply and are your responsibility.
All Service Credit purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by Profasee in writing.
4. Consumption and Metering
Service Credits may be deducted in real time as eligible AI usage occurs. Usage may include model calls, token usage, cached token usage, image generation, AI Employee activity, Agent Actions, workflow execution, tool calls, and other metered or usage-based features.
Profasee may also report usage to a payment processor or billing provider and reconcile Service Credit-covered usage on an invoice or billing record. Your displayed balance may be adjusted to correct metering, billing, reconciliation, fraud, abuse, or technical errors.
Profasee's records of usage, deductions, balances, purchases, auto-reloads, and credits are controlling unless you show manifest error.
Service Credits consumed by authorized usage, Outputs, workflows, or Agent Actions are not refundable or reversible merely because the Output was inaccurate, the Agent Action was undesirable, the result was unprofitable, the Channel changed its policy, or you did not use the Services as expected.
5. Expiration
Unless Profasee states a different period at issuance, paid Usage Credits expire one year after issuance.
Promotional Credits expire on the date stated when issued. If no date is stated, Promotional Credits expire one year after issuance. Profasee may revoke Promotional Credits at any time if they were issued in error, abused, obtained through fraud, or used in violation of the Terms.
Service Credits also expire or are forfeited when you close your Account, when the Account is terminated for cause, or when the Terms or these Service Credit Terms state that forfeiture applies.
6. No Transfer
Service Credits may be used only by the Account to which they are issued. You may not sell, transfer, gift, trade, broker, pool, assign, pledge, sublicense, or exchange Service Credits, whether paid or promotional.
Service Credits cannot be used across unrelated accounts unless Profasee expressly permits it in writing.
7. Auto-Reload and Balance Maintenance
Profasee may offer auto-reload or balance maintenance. If you enable it, you authorize Profasee and its payment processors to charge your saved payment method on a recurring off-session basis when your balance reaches or falls below your selected threshold, in the amount needed to reach your selected target balance or another amount shown in the product flow.
You may disable auto-reload in the billing settings where available. Disabling auto-reload does not cancel charges already initiated, amounts already due, or deductions for usage already incurred.
Auto-reload may fail, be delayed, require authentication, or be suspended because of payment failure, processor rules, fraud review, regulatory requirements, or Profasee risk controls. Profasee is not liable for service interruption, failed Agent Actions, or usage limits caused by insufficient credits or failed auto-reload.
8. Pricing Changes
Profasee may change usage rates, credit application rules, model prices, token rates, conversion methods, supported models, eligible features, and metering rules at any time. Changes may apply to future usage, including usage paid with existing Service Credits, unless Profasee states otherwise.
Profasee may modify, discontinue, or replace Service Credit functionality, including by migrating to a different billing provider, credit ledger, invoice offset, or payment mechanism.
9. Disputes
You must dispute any Service Credit purchase, deduction, balance, auto-reload, or usage charge within thirty days after it appears in your Account, invoice, or billing record. Send disputes to billing@profasee.com and include the account, date, amount, and reason for the dispute.
Profasee will review timely disputes in good faith and may issue a correction, credit, refund, or denial at its discretion and as required by law. You must pay all undisputed amounts while a dispute is pending.
10. Abuse and Corrections
Profasee may correct balances, reverse credits, claw back credits, suspend accounts, terminate access, or require repayment if Service Credits were issued, purchased, transferred, or consumed because of fraud, abuse, chargeback, payment failure, promotion misuse, pricing error, metering error, technical error, violation of the Terms, violation of the Usage Policy, or other unauthorized activity.
If a payment for Service Credits is reversed, charged back, declined, refunded, or otherwise not received, Profasee may remove the corresponding credits, suspend the Account, require repayment, or charge the payment method on file for usage already consumed.
11. Order of Precedence
If these Service Credit Terms conflict with the Terms of Service, these Service Credit Terms control for Service Credit-specific issues unless the Terms expressly state otherwise. The Usage Policy controls prohibited use of Service Credits and the Services.
